Hello everyone, and welcome. We live in Prescott, Arizona. My husband and I became very interested in the Shiloh Shepherd in 2001. We met someone who was "SOCIALIZING" her 4 month old puppy. My husband was "SMITTEN" and fell in love with this dog. We have always loved the German Shepherd look. Their "EYES" are so "EXPRESSIVE". What we hated about the GSD was the low-slung rear end and the hips. We also knew of the health & hip  problems prevalent in the GSD breed. We wanted to avoid this as much as possible. Thankfully we found the Shilohs.

We started to research the Shiloh Shepherd, by reading pages and pages from the Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club website. You can visit us here: http://www.shilohshepherds.org  We soon learned how very special these dogs are. Much like an adoption process, we found that we would need to be "SELECTED" to become a Shiloh parent.  Everyone we talked with was "SUPER".  We were welcomed into The Shiloh Forum by everyone. Please visit our "Links Page" for more information. I Hope as you research, that you will come to love the Shiloh Shepherd as we have. Perhaps you too can become a part of our family. Good luck, and remember to "Investigate before you invest".

We wish to do what several breeders with the ISSR have done. We want to "Home Raise" four breeding females. We will research the LMX Data with the Breed Warden, Tina Barber. Then only "The Best"  ISSR stud will be chosen. Tina Barber, the breed founder, will approve of all breedings. My husband Willie, and I understand how important to the development of this breed "EXCELLENT QUALITY" puppies are. As Tina has said, "We need to increase the gene-pool". We have signed a Licensed Breeders Agreement, and are enrolled in the Official Shiloh Shepherd Academy. The OSSA. A requirement to become a Licensed Breeder with the ISSR. We have made this commitment to ourselves, to the SSDCA, and to you, our kennels future Shiloh owners.
